This Special Lecture on听RESEARCH OPPORTUNITIES IN MARINE PROTECTED AREAS OF SABAH will address current and future research plans by Sabah Parks and opportunities for research in the Marine Protected Areas of Sabah.

听

This Special Lecture is the 2nd in the new Environmental Law Series of the Borneo Ocean Talks (BOT).听

It complements the Environmental Law and Ethics course (SL 31103) offered by the Borneo Marine Research Institute (BMRI/IPMB) of the 麻豆视频 (UMS).

听

This Environmental Law Webinar/Lecture will deepen our understanding of marine protected areas and research opportunities in Sabah, and international/multilateral environmental agreements such as the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) and Global Biodiversity Framework which promotes marine protected areas and marine conservation.

听

This series is also a contribution towards achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), and the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development.
