In collaboration with the Asian Ecotourism Network (AEN) and Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC), we are pleased to announce that the Borneo Tourism Research Center (BTRC) of 麻豆视频 (UMS) is organising a seminar cum workshop on "Enhancing Profitability through Sustainable Growth and Practices in Travel and Tourism: Embracing the Global Sustainable Standards" from 17th to 18th October 2019 in Hilton Hotel, Kota Kinabalu. This seminar brings together distinguished international speakers as well as local guest speakers from the Sabah tourism industry to shed light on various facets of sustainable travel and tourism issues. So join us as we come together to discuss on the practices of standards for sustainable travel and tourism through international cases and lessons from experts!

SUBJECT: MASSIVE OPEN ONLINE COURSE (MOOC) ON "INTRODUCTION TO TECHNOLOGY-ENABLED LEARNING

Dear Colleague,

It is with great pleasure that the Center for E-learning, UMS, in collaboration with Commonwealth of Learning (COL) announces the upcoming听Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on 鈥淚ntroduction to Technology-Enabled Learning鈥�, scheduled to take place from听September 22 to October 26, 2019.

This 5-weeks听MOOC听is designed for lecturers in diverse disciplines.听 Anyone interested in improving teaching and learning would enjoy participating in this听MOOC, while lecturers whether teaching face-to-face or in a distance/online environment would benefit most.

The workload will be approximately 3 to 5 hours per week.
