The IEEE Sabah Subsection is organizing theÌý3rd IEEE International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Engineering and Technology 2021 (IICAIET2021), co-organized by the Artificial Intelligence Research Unit, Â鶹ÊÓƵ (UMS) and the Faculty of Robotics and Design, Osaka Institute of Technology (OIT), which will be heldÌýat Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia fromÌý13 to 15 September 2021.ÌýThe conference will provide an excellent platform for knowledge exchange between researchers working in the areas of Artificial Intelligence.ÌýProspective authors are invited to submit a full paper (4-6 pages) describing original work on all aspects of artificial intelligence.

Attention, all book lovers! If you like reading and talking about books – fact or fiction - then you should join us every alternate Friday at 3 PM on Google Meet. You will have the opportunity to promote your favourite book, discuss your current reading and receive recommendations on more great reads from other members. Register via the QR code on the accompanying poster. The first session is scheduled for this Friday, 12 March.

Cash prizes will be awarded for the best book reviews and to the best contributor to club sessions. Members will also receive a Certificate of Participation, as well as student points for extra-curricular activities (subject to confirmation).
