Physiological Anthropology is the scientific discipline which focused on homo sapiens as the subjects existing in modern technological society of today and aspired to the creation of living environments and lifestylesystems based on research which attaches importance to human characteristics evaluated from a viewpoint encompassing the past, present and future.

The main aims of physiological anthropology are to conduct research on humans in modern society from both physiological and a cultural standpoint, in an effort to create a truly healthy and comfortable living environment.

We are currently accepting abstract submissions for oral and posterpresentations, and we would like to inviteyou to submit an abstract for consideration. Welcome all to an exciting talk co-organised by the Sociology and Social Anthropology program of the Faculty of Social Sciences & Humanities with the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, 鶹Ƶ (UMS).
Listen to Dr Sadia Choudhury Shimmi, a physiologist, and Dr Pauline Yong, a medical anthropologist, talk about how physiological anthropology, the study of human adaptability to the environment and its diversity, is important in solving real issues in the world today. They will also share examples from their current research.
